MotoGP – Motegi Day 1 – Jorge Lorenzo: "I'm very happy with this session"

Jorge Lorenzo achieved the third fastest time today on the Motegi circuit, scene of the second race of the 2009 world championship, behind his teammate Valentino Rossi and the Australian Ducati rider Casey Stoner. At the end of the tests he said he was very satisfied given that usually at the beginning he struggles a little more to be fast. His M1 seems to adapt very well to the circuit owned by Honda and therefore he hopes to continue this positive trend tomorrow, even in case of rain. The word goes to him.

“I'm very happy with this test session because we often struggle a bit at the start of the weekend, but that wasn't the case today and this start makes me feel really good. The M1 seemed very good to me in braking, acceleration and cornering: we are in excellent shape and I hope to continue like this tomorrow, even in case of rain. In fact, I'm really curious to find out what will happen and what the timing will be."
