Andrea Dovizioso will start from the third row with the eighth fastest time, in the GP of San Marino and the Adriatic Riviera, the thirteenth stage of the 2009 world championship. The Repsol Team centaur, who has been using Ohlins suspension for this race, however, has a good race pace and therefore hopes off to a good start. He has the microphone.

“I have a good pace on race tyres, and we improved the pace and closed the gap with the riders in front this afternoon and I'm pleased. We are at six tenths with our race pace and very close to Dani's (Pedrosa, ed.), so I was happy with this. Unfortunately I couldn't go fast enough on the soft tyres, and so my starting position wasn't what I wanted. I'm disappointed about this, because it could compromise the race and it means I have to make a good start and try to recover positions from the start. It won't be easy as it's difficult to overtake at the first corner. However, I think we have made progress with the set-up and the potential of our package is good.”
