MotoGP: Marco Lucchinelli “Lorenzo too nervous in Qatar, 25 points wasted”
The former 500 class world champion had his say on the false start of the Majorcan from Yamaha
di Alessio BrunoriMarch 28, 2014
Jorge Lorenzo had a shock start to the world championship. In fact, the Yamaha rider crashed while trying to escape on the first lap of the Qatar Grand Prix. An operation which was unsuccessful due to a fall which immediately caused him to lose precious championship points. The Majorcan himself admitted the mistake at the end of the race, but his nervousness had been clear since the start of the weekend. Here are the words of Marco Lucchinelli in this regard, released to Gazzetta.it
“Lorenzo was too nervous all weekend, it will take him a long time to recover – said Lucchinelli – He wasn't calm, he had been gesticulating a lot since practice, he wanted to start fast but it went badly for him. That's 25 points really wasted.”

...certainly he won't be the only one to fall...I don't see the problem...actually, perhaps better at the annual debut, there's time to recover, especially mentally...in any case if Marc doesn't make any mistakes I see it as very hard for everyone …let's hope someone beats him…he annoys me as much and perhaps more than the geriatrician!!!
Come on, don't exaggerate, at least he wins because he's good, not like someone else who wins because someone wants to, and there's a big difference, bye fatman!
and who the hell wins except the cute little boy and the curmudgeon? ah, Pedrosa... damn, doesn't he even deserve a few victories?
but get it over with, get married, you two!
Emmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I don't know where he comes from but as far as I'm concerned I really like Marc and I support him, I recognize Jorge as a great champion and for Dani I hoped that last year he would finally win after so many years of bad luck, but this year the I see it's hard for him.
So what do you want?
…yes, it's true…it's a little better Marc…who the f2zz@ is Em? What do you have against Pedro just because he wins fewer world championships? I remember that he always won around forty races...
Dani is great even without the World Cup, anyone who doesn't recognize him doesn't understand a club, his Achilles' heel is bad luck!
@H954RR
Hello!
I agree with you about Pedrosa, his value as a rider is independent of whether he wins a world championship or not, in fact he wasn't much slower than Stoner when they were both in Honda...however I would like to ask you something: are you sure that if Valentino had them taken from a rookie just arrived from the Middle class, would you be as “benevolent” as you are now with Dani?
In the end Pedrosa has been racing with Honda in MotoGP for 8 years, Marquez beat him as soon as he arrived (quatar 2013)....but you say he is a champion.
Conversely, you dispute that Valentino is overrated, even if I remind you that Lorenzo, just to make a comparison, took them for two years from Valentino, before winning in 2010... (also thanks to Vale's fracture, but that's another speech)
Hello!
He set out to win, the mistake also happens to champions like Jorge, even if the one who seems to ride the most "free-necked" is Marquez... except that it's as if he were fused with the bike... well...
Lorenzo arrives, don't delude yourself that the world championship will be won by the Yamaha 46.
The ifs don't matter but last year he would have won again despite a bike that was something less than the Honda he had, he was unlucky with injuries and Marquez was very lucky at Mugello, Lorenzo for now in my opinion remains the absolute number one... as long as he's not a stoner get up one morning and decide to get back on the road...
And thanks TONY you talked about the KING, it is!
In Texas they will be the favorite, Bridgestone has decided to use the 2013 tires because they were unable to produce the 2014 ones in time. There certainly won't be a race like Losail, Honda had modified the chassis after the arrival of the 2014 tires to better fit the tires. Unless Honda takes the old chassis, the favorites are Yamaha, who have kept the same chassis, the only difference for them is the swingarm... There is a serious risk of seeing a podium of 3 Yamahas...
Thanks Tony, without this brief but clear and insightful consideration of yours we would never have gotten there!! We were already ready for the t-shirt with the number 10! You are truly a KING!!
There is a mistake, I think that if he had remained standing, he would have won or at least he would have fought with Marc... I think he wanted to impose himself right from the start to beat Marquez but he couldn't do it...
For now I'm enjoying this beautiful race between my favorite pegs!
