Valentino Rossi, despite the eighth time, is quite satisfied with the second day of testing in Losail, theater of the Qatar Grand Prix. The Ducati rider from Pesaro has in fact set a good pace with the hard tires and is aiming for the second row tomorrow. The word is up to him.

“Today went quite well and the last round, I would say, was the best. Our position isn't fantastic but the positive thing is that with the hard tire I can lap at a very constant pace. The front of the GP12 gives me much better feedback than last year's bike so I can "push" more and this is a very important thing. Furthermore the bike is very fast in a straight line. We still struggle with understeer but, at least, we have some margin to work on. We hope to improve two or three things about the setup for tomorrow because qualifying on the second row could already be a good thing.”

Best wishes for good results to the entire Ducati racing team and in particular to our favorite Valentino. We all always believe that you will be able to bring the GP12 to the podium and with your skill you will bring the Doctor to win his long-awaited tenth degree with the utmost honor. WISHES TO ALL FOR A BEAUTIFUL 2012!!!

enrico shut up you mustn't talk about biaggi!!!!!!!! 6 to 0 in the premier class and even when changing bikes there is something wrong and I say it reluctantly as a passionate canary... he has to relearn to drive over problems like he did in the old days!!!!!! There's no such thing as Barbera being 3 and I'm not talking about customer bikes because at the beginning all the official bikes are not the same (see tech3)= also to direct development...but he has to make the difference!!!!!!!! I'm the real pissed off one!!!!!

sorry I wanted to write 6 x barbera but I'M REALLY PISSED OUT!!!!!!!!

Good enough? But can he do it?
At 1.2 seconds and with 2 other Ducatis in front, is it good enough?
It's disastrous...if he wasn't worth 4 times the other Ducati riders in the race, he would be immediately "shooting"...

But c*****s like this rider never heard of in thirty years of motorcycling, contradiction made person. Remember Stoner's bike at Losail in recent years with an eight hundred without any value of fast technical improvement but seriously

he's now a cooked driver... it's useless to expect anything from him... it will be another anonymous season and his real mistake was not to continue to compete with Lorenzo... but he understood that he was in for it and it was better to have a change of scenery... the problem is that he's been getting them from everyone since he joined Ducati... I'm not a Biaggi fan, but if they gave the Roman the same advantages that Rossi had, especially when he raced with Honda, the Roman would have won by a landslide... Biaggi is a real talent who only started racing at the age of 17 , Rossi was born on motorbikes, but he has no real talent, he has always been helped, first by his father, then by his father's friends, then by technical sponsors... anyway the lack of results is above all Ducati's fault...

    @vincenzo
what the fuck are you saying, there were people who said that the rival won because the tire dealer didn't give him the same tyres, or because he was sabotaged by his own team...
whoever wins rejoices, whoever loses explains why he lost.
It's always been like this, at least Rossi remains on technical reasons, and not on conspiracies.
go reread the rubbish that ALL pilots say or said when they get it, including the phenomena of the moment.
the fact is that we are all looking at every comma that valentino says, and we ignore the enormous bullshit that everyone spouts, because 90% of the statements of others don't even read the law

    @danylrome
1-he hits them in ducati IN TESTING, then in the race he is always in front
2-ADVANTAGES?? hahahahah what would they be? Biaggi took them from Rossi, riding a much better motorbike... (2004), and in 2005 she was riding the OFFICIAL HONDA MOTOBBONA and didn't even win a race, getting them from Gibernau, often mockery from Hayden who had the Honda
3-in 250 in aprilia biaggi had a missile that stripped everyone on the straight, and imposed team mates like bayle, in 96 he was the only aprilia rider, and cried if lucchi raced at mugello, seeing as the old test driver was too fast.
Biaggi lost in 1999 to Criville and in 2000 to Roberts Jr with the Suzuki, often taking pay from Checa, McCoy and Abe who had the same bike. you can't even compare it to red cumpa'

If you want I'll post the links so you can see the results race by race
whether Rossi is cooked is a different matter, even Agostini ended badly, but no one dreams of saying that for this katayama it would have been better if it had had the advantages of needle.
    or not?

I believe from what I saw until last night that the Ducati (absolutely renewed bike, chassis, front and rear weight distribution, inclination of the twin-cylinder engine, etc., etc.) has arrived here with still some work to do but more ready than last year . Now I see Hayden and the other Ducati riders who don't make many changes to the bike, they come in, lap and try to set the time while I see Valentino who is still looking for improvements for the race. I also believe that today is the day in which we will really see the potential of Ducati and the other bikes on the track, I am referring to Honda and Yamaha. However, I see it as an open and interesting championship compared to last year. We will see .

If you go and see Rossi's race pace, excluding Lorenzo and Stoner, you will realize that he is with the others, so he can do well in the race on Sunday, greetings to everyone

danylrome you go racing no.. since you're so good.. I bet that if I give you a bundle of billions of help you'll look like a galactic s**t on the track.. Have you ever ridden in a category that isn't very competitive which compared to a prototype is crap? Here's a try.. then maybe you can talk..
I'm just telling you that SBKs are bikes that move a lot and are standard derivatives. A GP is a prototype and it's another planet both in terms of performance and mechanical refinement.. but I imagine you know all this..

To say that Rossi was helped and has no talent is shameful, first because he is an Italian, second because the results speak for themselves and he won 9 world titles... with the Moto GP 1000 of the early years he won all the titles to begin with .. they can help you as much as you want on the track you are alone and the bike doesn't make the result by turning on its own.

hahaha hearing that biaggi is the phenomenon…. I'm giving myself a stomach ache from laughing!!!
I won't say anything else after this bullshit!!!! DANILROME but what did you see in those years????

Introduction: I am a Rossi supporter. Rossi is more than done, it seems to me that he doesn't give a damn anymore. On tweeter he spouts bullshit a lot, he makes himself look good for Sportweek and is already thinking about next week when he will drive the 458 Italia in Monza with Uccio, he's thinking about redoing the ranch etc. If we compare him to another phenomenon like... Alonso we see that the Ferrari driver is a team man, when they interview him he defends everything and everyone and encourages us to work and to persevere. Rossi, on the other hand, seems listless to me and if I were Ducati it would be time to tighten my belt: we changed the bike, you get 12 million and for me with the pipe you go on the 458 in Monza now you're on the GP12 and as long as you don't go fast for me there are sleep too! Spoiled

Biaggi was a great Moto GP rider there is no doubt about this and there is also no doubt about the fact that Max never had a bike on par with Valentino's in his hands!
When he was with Yamaha the M1 was significantly inferior to Honda and when they changed bikes Yamaha invested money that they had never dreamed of making with Max!
The year in the official HRC was terrible, the team was in disarray, it would have been better if they stayed with Pons!
Anyway Valentino is better than Max on this there is no doubt otherwise he wouldn't have won all those world titles he's a great rider and you can't say that in moments of difficulty people forget what you did in the past the same is happening with Schumi in Formula 1, Valentino is the greatest driver in history and doesn't have to prove anything to anyone!

  • Certain!!! Biaggi is a great talent!!!!! On the vase!!!!!!!!! Just having seen Imola last Sunday!!!!! He got it from everyone!!!!!

in 2004 and 2005 Yamaha may have made investments, but Honda was from another planet in 2004 and in any case better in 2005. If you think that Rossi's Yamaha was the best bike you are either in bad faith or you don't understand a thing. racing.
Of course, if Biaggi lost it was the bike, the tires, the team...HRC was in disarray, of course.
    but please...
in 2000 Yamaha won the manufacturers' title and the largest number of races, unfortunately for them with different riders and their top rider only won 2 and he saw the title through binoculars, as well as publicly declaring that "the bike is a dump ”

look, the Ducati engine is a four-cylinder like everyone else, I forgot the Tavullians don't know about technique, imagine if he had to say about the desmo ahhahahaha

  • Marco said:

the last one is right in essence, if you want to stick to a typo...
However, non-Tavullians who understand technology tell us that in 2004, in 3 months, Yamaha, by virtue of phantom investments, transformed from a gate to Moto-Nasa, while Honda, which was planning the world championships on the drawing board (according to them) by virtue of an overwhelming supremacy he ended up "in disarray" in the same period of time
ah yes... they gave Rossi better tyres, there was a global conspiracy to make him win... ahahahahhahaha
