It won't be a race to remember in Losail, Qatar, for James Toseland. The British driver in fact finished outside the points zone and above all finished twelve positions behind teammate Colin Edwards. Toseland had a very difficult weekend and the race, after the incidents he had during testing, was like a testing ground. Among other things he wasn't very lucky, being involved in an off-track accident caused by an entry from Toni Elias. However, the Sheffield pianist is confident about the future. The word is up to him.

“It was a tough weekend to say the least, and I know we have a long way to go to recover. This race was almost like a proving ground for me, like a test and I didn't have much luck. I felt I could fight for the top ten positions, but Toni Elias "entered" the final corner and then closed my line. I went wide in the gravel losing a lot of time. We looked at another front solution for the race to try and resolve some stability issues I had, and I know there is room for further improvement. I just need time and a little luck to go my way. My guys have worked hard and I am confident that I can get a good result in Japan for Monster Team Yamaha Tech 3.”
