MotoGP – Losail Race – Disappointment for Marco Melandri

Marco Melandri is deeply disappointed after the opening race of the 2010 world championship held in Qatar. The Team Gresini rider in fact finished the race in thirteenth and last position without ever giving the impression of being able to turn his race around. The word is up to him.

Marco Melandri (13th): “A very disappointing race, one of the worst of my career. Unfortunately it was impossible for me to ride, I immediately struggled a lot and after a few laps the situation got even worse. The engine braking was skipping a lot and I couldn't even brake anymore. There was no longer any connection between the gas and the engine, I could no longer manage the throttle, I opened up when exiting corners, sometimes I struggled to give power or sometimes I had too much and the bike moved. It was a terrible race that closed an equally disappointing weekend. Now I just have to trust in the team and hope they can help me find a solution. Unfortunately I am very sensitive when riding, my style is particular and this bike is not the best solution for me. I am very saddened. ”
