MotoGP – Losail Day 1 – Not a brilliant start for Niccolò Canepa

Niccolò Canepa, in his first race in the MotoGP class world championship, achieved the seventeenth fastest time in the first free practice session with a time of 2'00"597 on the Losail circuit. 45 minutes were not enough for the Genoese to fine-tune his Pramac Racing Ducati Desmosedici GP9. Obviously the driver is not satisfied with the position and will try to resolve the problems he had in Free Practice 1 with the team. He has the say.

“Time really flew by today, forty-five minutes are not enough especially for a rider like me who is completely new to this world. We will need some time to find the right feeling with the bike and the best working method. The position I find myself in really doesn't make me smile: tomorrow we will have to work even harder to improve significantly."
