MotoGP – Losail Day 1 – Capirossi immediately sixth

After the performance of the winter tests, seeing Loris Capirossi in sixth place is sensational, considering that he has always remained in the top-3 with his Suzuki. However, on the first day in Losai, the rider from Imola tried to fine-tune his bike by making some changes compared to the setup of the winter tests, only to then return to the original set-up, already thinking about some changes for tomorrow when he will have a little more time available between the second free practice session and official qualifying on the Doha track.

“It's not a bad start, even if we had some problems with the set-up”, says Capirossi. “During the last tests the balance we had found was not the best, so we tried some changes except returning to the original setting. We have some ideas for tomorrow and we are convinced that it will be better, even if it is a problem for everyone to only shoot for 45 minutes!”.
