MotoGP – Le Mans – Rossi: "Michelin must give us a hand"

Valentino Rossi raises the tire alarm again after the Le Mans race. The driver from Pesaro who finished the race (declared wet and ended in pouring rain) in 53.563 in sixth position once again pointed the finger "at" Michelin which, according to him, is currently behind Bridgestone. The concept was reiterated today too, here are the words of the Pesaro driver released at Grand Prix off the beaten track.

“Definitely a big shame because in the dry the bike seemed to be working very well. I had made a good start and I hoped it wouldn't start raining, then I was in front anyway but with the heavy rain the tire went into trouble. In the end I was really stuck, it's a big shame. I think we have to work, Michelin has to give us a hand also because under the water the Bridgestone tires looked like they were from another planet! We definitely lack a bit of engine but in my opinion the biggest problems are the tyres!”
