MotoGP Le Mans 2015 QP: Alex De AngelisUnfortunately, he was unable to replicate in qualifying the excellent performance achieved this morning in FP4 (2nd) in damp track conditions.
In the official testing session, with extremely cold asphalt, the Italian rider still managed to insert his Ioda between the two official Aprilias, thanks to a time of 1.35.680 which earned him 24th position on the starting grid of the circuit Bugatti at Le Mans.

“After yesterday's fall – he said Alex De Angelis – today I can't be disappointed. Everything went well only the weather conditions didn't help us in the various changes we made to the bike and we weren't even able to understand the real effect of these in the end. As you can see, they are one of the two official Aprilias and if they can't be effective in these conditions I certainly can't. This is a somewhat difficult track for us, also because at every exit from the various hairpins the bike rears up a lot and this puts a lot of strain on the electronics which cuts the already not much power of our bike and therefore affects us in acceleration. We will study something for tomorrow to stay with the riders in front of us."
