Dani Pedrosa, winner two weeks ago in Jerez, set the best time in both sessions of the French Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2013 world championship. The Honda Repsol Team rider lapped with an excellent race pace and at the moment he is the driver to beat. Pedrosa said he was happy above all with the weather, which he held up for today at least. The word is up to him.

“Today's test sessions were important to test the tires and run a lot on the dry track, because here you usually don't have this opportunity. So I tried to stay on track as long as possible and gather a lot of information, because maybe it will rain tomorrow. Luckily the weather held out and we were able to put in some positive laps, which we hope to capitalize on for Sunday's race.”
