Jorge Lorenzo MotoGP 2016 Race Le Mans Yamaha Movistar – Jorge Lorenzo wins the Le Mans grand prix by a landslide, thus repeating the success achieved here last year. A clear, overwhelming victory, never in question since Friday's free practice. The two Ducatis tried to keep up with his pace, but Iannone fell while trying to stay in the Majorcan's wake, while Dovizioso, perhaps also having seen the fate that befell the other Andrea, after a few laps decided to "get on with it" and let him go away. In the end, thanks also to Marquez's crash, Lorenzo now finds himself at the top of the standings even if with a few points behind the Marquez Rossi duo who follow him closely.

“Of course today I was calmer than in Qatar, when Dovizioso was close – said Jorge Lorenzo – I had 8-9 seconds but at the beginning I wasn't feeling well, especially when braking, but then I recovered my composure to be able to brake easily again and so after 3-4 laps I lowered my pace a bit compared to the others, while at the beginning I had the same pace as Iannone and Dovizioso, that was the key. This victory is very important because now Marquez also crashed and so we have recovered not only 5 points but 25.

Yamaha continues to support you even though you will be leaving next year
“I've never had any doubts about Yamaha, they've always been 100% serious, so it's better for them too to bet on two riders to win the title rather than just one”

Have the tires improved compared to 15 days ago?

“This track is different from Jerez, but the tires worked better, we certainly didn't have the grip we had in the winter tests and in Qatar, but they work better than the last race”

13 of them crashed. They were better because you won.

he never misses an opportunity other than shooting that he missed the last race due to the tires…hahahahahahahah

Giori has a brain that pushes…..

  • max3isback said:

The tires were better because everyone was going even faster than last year... but pushing sometimes leads to falling...

but there is no doubt that in the last race the tires were terrible as reported by all the drivers...

Anyway Michelin really needs to find consistency with the tyres, because every race is a lottery... but great victory all the same...

The answers on the tires are legitimate to the question, but you continue to see things your way, anyway yes, with better tires in Jerez he would have fought with Vale ;)

So if the next race Michelin improves even more will you say that if today they had had better tires Rossi would have fought with Lorenzo????

    2. nandop6 said:

Each race has its own story, the tires change and evolve, one time it's good for one and another for another, it's you who wants to see it in your own way, the tire problem is the same for everyone but for you they're not good only when Rossi wins.

I quote your words: if Lorenzo had had better tires in Jerez he would have fought with Vale...
    1) everyone had tire problems, some were able to make better use of them than others
    2) to be honest, if we give rubber to Lorenzo we give it to everyone
    3) you're just a poor sod.

no, Rossi could have fought with Lorenzo today "maybe" if he started from the front row...

but as I've always said, the Michelins are affecting the world championship too much, they don't have consistency and the teams have to work too hard to adapt to each race... which is ruining the show.. yes, each race is a story in itself, well done to Rossi for adapting better in the It's the last race, but if the tires don't cause any problems Jorge is faster....

it was gprg67's comment that didn't make sense...

These are the tires for everyone: we are not at the Play Station.
In Agostini's time the tires were almost bicycle tyres, zero electronics, the best one won.
Today less electronics, tires that can be improved but this passes the convent.
The hypocritical Spaniard complained in Jerez, not today because he won, tomorrow if he finishes 5th, what excuse does he make?
Last year it was the helmet, this year the tires, miiiiiii, worse than Biaggi.
Too emotionally fragile, in my opinion (personal opinion) he is about to collapse psychologically.
Should it hold up this year (I see it as tough) the decisive blow the perfect clean driving will take next year.

Lyon I think you'd better go back and watch Agostini's races because you understood more ;)

Is Jorge about to collapse psychologically???!!! Hahahaha good…

But as for complaining, look, in recent years Vale has taken the record away from Max lol... And anyway in Jerez everyone said that the tires were bad, if you don't understand what the problem is with having retilene spinning up to fifth gear, well patience...

    1. Lyon66 said:

I certainly understand more than you: the slimy biaggi-anus goes into crisis if everything isn't perfect, facts in front of everyone's eyes, not words.
He made an uncertain choice for 2017, when Jamaha starts testing new parts for 2017 he will be cut out (it's normal for a rider who changes flag) and he knows very well that if he doesn't put a lot of points between himself and Vale he risks a big risk.
All races must go well for him (including rain) and reach three quarters of the championship with at least 20 points ahead of Vale.
      Do you think he's a serene up-to-the-minute know-it-all?
In my opinion, in a little while if something goes wrong (two races are enough like last year) he'll strip and he'll get an allergy, Valentinite hahaha.
Hit another driver in the past…

      1. Lyon66 said:

You're the one who doesn't understand that bimbomi@kia and Vale also had spinning as well as slimy.
Vale, unlike the two infamous ones, with his "twenty years" experience was able to dose the gas while damaging the tires less: he wore them out and ruined them, they destroyed them.
Either you don't understand or you don't know how to read and/or understand the interviews with the comments of those directly involved.
Or are you like the other 4 of your snack companions who throw out a few meaningless sentences just for the sake of being laughed at.
        You're happy... everyone's happy.

You too, watch out for mistakes, the "new" (even if for me it's always him) little professor will beat you up...

    2. TONYKART said:

There's a grain of truth in the bullshit you say, Lyon... in fact I thought so too, Rossi not because of his twenty years of experience but because of his general slowness of a few tenths compared to Lorenzo, he preserved the little bit of his tires that enough to have a more efficient bike at the end of the race....but as we have already seen in this race with a different asphalt there is no longer the mix of causes to make the miracle of seeing Rossi racing like Lorenzo happen

      1. nandop6 said:

You said another bullshit, or rather two, the first is that in Jerez everyone, including Rossi, had the tire problem and the reason why he won is not because being slower ruined them less, in fact the fastest laps were there Rossi did it while in this race if you look at Rossi's times until Dovi and Marc crashed he was lapping with Lorenzo's times of 33.5 and if I'm not mistaken he set the fastest lap.

      2. whose said:

you and your friends are really at your wits' end...

  • supermariacion said:

Biaggianti are all the same, they see everything from a different perspective!!!! when Rossi wins, it's the others who lose. when Rossi loses the others are too strong. seeing those 4 dogs cheering on a big boy like giorgi makes you want to vomit.

  • TONYKART said:

he wins big and sets a track record with the same Rossi bike and you have the courage to speak! ahahahaha…. somewhere you start to hope that he will quickly get on ducatis to start keeping up, what poor people you are, you are sorry, so I renew my wish let's hope that Rossi falls, that's what you deserve

    1. nandop6 said:

Always forget that in 2014 and 2015 Lorenzo was behind Rossi at the end of the championship as in 2008-2009.

    2. whose said:

Lorenzo set the record on pole, while in the race you tell me who did it...

I've told you before, the race, in addition to looking at the images, also have it explained, otherwise you'll continue to make a fool of yourself....

    3. nandop6 said:

Bravo hopes that Rossi falls, that's all you have left.
      You are fruitless.

JORGE LORENZO – RATING 10 He returns to live with arrogance, riveting the rest of the group. Despite the complicated situation of separation at Yamaha, the ride at Le Mans allows him to make a leap to the top of the world championship. The hope is that in the next trip to Mugello he can perform with the same serenity without the boos of the usual idiots.

I report here the comment on the sportmediaset.mediaset.it report cards to offer you what the journalist thinks of the Rossi fans.
Evidently MotoGP fans are starting to get annoyed.

  • gprg67 said:

more than anything we are happy even when he only gets on the podium. It's worth not having to prove anything anymore. At 37 years old, continuing to get on the podium is already Martian-like, imagine how happy we are when he wins or goes up from 7th to 2nd position. You still don't understand; for you at 37 years old and with 9 world championships won if you come second you are a failure hahahaha there are very few of you left in the world hahahahahahahahaha

  • TONYKART said:

But what reason did Lorenzo have to try for the record in the race when he has a month's lead !!!!!!! he humiliated him in qualifying do you think that if he wanted to repeat a record lap in the race he was no longer capable?! we are at the height of idiocy , and maybe even me who is discussing it with you

    1. Bestlap said:

Ah, have you noticed that you are an IDI0TA..?? It's already a good step forward, even if you got the reason why you are wrong.. Anyway, imagine if Lorenzo loses the opportunity to excel against Rossi.. If he didn't do the hat trick it's because he didn't succeed , surely he would have wanted to do it just because Rossi did it in Jerez, so who demolished who..??

Look what Zamagni writes about Le Mans:
“And yet, every year, there are more and more people at Le Mans: 99.053 (reported) on Sunday alone. A nice sight, but how many boos for Lorenzo!”

All Italian canaries away? or people, of all nationalities, who saw clearly the 2015 scam..?? I think the two infamous guys will have to get used to it, it will be like this at all circuits...
