MotoGP Le Mans: Casey Stoner “Perfect weekend”

A weekend worth remembering in France for Casey Stoner. The Australian driver, after having dominated all the free practice sessions and having achieved pole position, won the "Monster Energy Grand Prix De France" by a distance, the fourth race of the 2011 season. He has the say.

“It was a perfect weekend. We started from the setup from the Portugal tests and only made small adjustments here and there to refine the setup and adapt it to the characteristics of this circuit. We arrived at the race determined. In the first laps Dani was very fast and it was difficult to pass him. When I succeeded, I thought I'd break away from him a little, but instead he was glued and, for a few laps, he was lapping at the same times as me. So I kept pushing, more than I would have liked, and finally gained a bit of an advantage. From that moment I had the race in hand, I concentrated on maintaining the pace and going for the win. Thanks to all the guys on the team for working so hard and a thought for Dani, I hope he recovers soon because he is one of the main protagonists of this championship."
