It's a disappointed and controversial Casey Stoner with the CRTs who speaks after qualifying for the Red Bull US Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2012 world championship which will take place tomorrow in Laguna Seca. The Honda driver (who finished second) had the potential to take pole but always encountered a CRT on his way to slow him down. The word is up to him.

“I'm disappointed because I think we definitely had the potential for pole position. We ran for most of the session on the hard tires trying to improve our pace, we have struggled all season when the temperatures are not high enough. Then we put on the soft tires and unfortunately we never had a clean lap. There was always a CRT in the middle and considering that we lap 3-4 seconds per lap faster than them, when you come to meet them it's a problem. Every lap was damaged and it's very disappointing because I really felt we could have been on pole, but we have to be happy with where we are. The choice of tires for the race will depend on the weather conditions tomorrow, I think we have the pace to be able to run with the soft tyre, but if it is hot, then we could also use the hard one.”

    It's actually dangerous
with 3 4 seconds per lap it's like finding a motorbike stopped in front!!!!!

Strange that Lorenzo Pedrosa and the others weren't so bothered by the crt...perhaps that when they walk around they use their head a little more and look around instead of getting nervous and turning off their brain...the usual stoner psychodrama..

...don't worry, they think so too, but they don't have the balls to say it...so as not to bring with them the pissed off Spanish uncle...the puppeteer of everything!!!

above all they continue next year, Stoner doesn't and he says what he thinks..

There is indeed a certain danger, for CRTs... especially when behind you you have a "phenomenon" hitter on the verge of a nervous breakdown......

In the interview he said much more and complained heavily about the crt throughout the season, perhaps he doesn't realize that without crt there would be ten bikes of which only four were still competitive, so why not also remove the Ducati which is often slow and does it hinder him?? Indeed, given that he was also slowed down by a satellite team's bike last year, why not have a championship with just the official Yamaha and Honda??? Some beautiful and spectacular four-way races??? It's a shame that Stoner didn't retire immediately and we have to wait until the end of the season... You can't stand him anymore either for what he does on the track or for what he says... but maybe a psychologist???? Or rather a psychiatrist..???

    1. SHUT UP……. you said the biggest bullshit you could say...

why don't you go in his place then since you criticize him so much???

Then let's see if you suddenly meet a CRT in front of you what were you doing... at least you didn't even get to the first curve... so SHUT UP...

      Stoner go like this

Exactly... in fact I don't race Moto GP..., I do another sport... And I respect my opponents... it's a question of education and strong nerves... in a sport like MotoGP without good nerves it's much more dangerous than finding yourself in front of someone more slow...gionny...but write in lower case because when you scream with capital Ste you seem to me too with bad nerves...

Johnny!!! But do you give the votes yourself??. Hahahaha that sold out…

basically he said (as often) a simple truth, crts are another smaller and slower category. There are 6/8 at most of valid GP bikes, i.e. truly prototypes, and if by chance, which is not unlikely, some top driver decides to move to SBK, there would be very few left, perhaps not even enough for all the steps of the podium. the GP bike (like this) is dead.

I ask you a question: would a Stoner on an ART beat a Rossi on a Ducati?

…we all know that CRTs shouldn't race with MotoGPs…but Stoner says so then it becomes bullshit….right???

I'll just say this, this last season is really bad for us Italians, Ducati doesn't perform and Dovi sometimes improvises a phenomenon even if he should have gotten involved earlier, and what's more there's no competition between the riders.
As far as Stoner is concerned, lately I seem to see in him the polemical Biaggi of the disappointing years, I'm sorry to say it but lately he's only made terrible impressions both on and off the track: the rider is there without a shadow of a doubt, but the passion in racing is 'he left in the attic since he aspires to sweep the straw in Australian barns. He could have made a very good impression if in any case he had committed himself to excelling as he had accustomed us to in the past instead of shouldering left and right, it's not just you in track!

    without controversy
he also gave the shoulder blows to red men,
everyone made fun of Biaggi for chattering, then when Rossi had him they changed his name...
what about the punch given to biaggi???
all things kept hidden by journalists...
all pilots can become nervous and make mistakes…..
I say that Rossi is an indisputable champion, but if I think there's something wrong I'll say so, from here offending people or saying they need a psychiatrist is fine... never thought of boiled Rossi
in these two years it would have been easy to say it even to Rossi....
