MotoGP – Laguna Seca – Loris Capirossi: "I'm really disappointed"

Loris Capirossi had a weekend to forget at Laguna Seca, the eighth stage of the 2009 world championship. After difficult tests, the Suzuki rider crashed in the first laps and therefore had to return to the pits. This weekend the former Ducati rider perhaps had to dedicate too much time to "experiments" on his Suzuki GSV-R 800cc and this did not allow him to find the right setting. The word is up to him.

“I'm really disappointed with what happened today, because we worked so hard this weekend to find the best solution and we thought we were okay for the race. I started really well and was really aggressive in the first two laps, but in turn 6 I lost the front on the second lap and then on the next lap it happened again, but this time I crashed. I'm really sorry for the whole team because they worked hard this week. The truth is this has been a terrible week for me, we never really found a good solution. Luckily we have nine more races ahead of us and we will continue to work really hard to get good results.”
