MotoGP Laguna Seca: Lorenzo also ahead in the "stackers" ranking
The Mallorcan driver is the best in the special Brembo ranking
The Madza Raceway circuit in Laguna Seca, home to the tenth round of the 2012 MotoGP World Championship, presents many very interesting aspects, including the famous stretch called 'Corkscrew'. The legendary Californian track, with its 3.610 meters of length, is one of the most spectacular among those included in the MotoGP calendar, not least because overtaking is particularly challenging. The track is very difficult, with curves and bumps that force the riders to modulate their braking extremely carefully.
At the end of the official tests, the data recorded by the telemetry of the respective teams were collected. Through these values it was possible to determine the ranking of the best "STACKERS", i.e. those drivers who begin to brake closer to the apex of turn 1.
Top ten of the “Detachers”:
1. Jorge Lorenzo (99) Yamaha Factory Racing YZR-M1
2. Casey Stoner (1) Repsol Honda RC213V
3. Dani Pedrosa (26) Repsol Honda RC213V
4. Ben Spies (11) Yamaha Factory Racing YZR-M1
5. Cal Crutchlow (35) Monster Yamaha YZR-M1
6. Valentino Rossi (46) Ducati Team Desmosedici GP12
7. Andrea Dovizioso (4) Monster Yamaha YZR-M1
8. Nicky Hayden (69) Ducati Team Desmosedici GP12

With all due respect to Dovi :)
However, nothing new: first 4 places for the best official bikes, 5th place for a customer Yamaha and then Rossi who has always made braking one of his strong points.
