Jorge Lorenzo presented yesterday at the Hotel Eurostars Madrid the helmet with which he participated in the Valencia Grand Prix, a special helmet with the livery of the new video game "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” It was also an opportunity to talk about the season just concluded with the third place finish and about next year, in which he will try to return to the top. The four-time world champion always sees a very strong Honda, but is aware that Yamaha is working to close the gap. Here's what he said as reported by EP's Spanish colleagues.

“I'm very happy with the improvements made on the 2015 bike, but the Honda is still the fastest in a straight line. We have made some steps forward in cornering and acceleration, but we can still improve to make a breakthrough.”

Speaking about the career of a sportsman he said “The career of a sportsman is very long and if you take good care of it physically it can last up to 15 years. It wasn't a year to waste, in the end I finished third but I didn't get the results I expected. After the German GP we collected two victories and 10 podiums. With a better bike and a competitive start we will be in contention for victory next season. "

Speaking about preparation for 2015 he added “This year, unlike 2013, I won't have to undergo operations and this will help me with my physical preparation. I want to get to the top in Qatar without making any mistakes.”

Speaking of 2013, he recalled the two worst races, Qatar and Austin: “In Qatar I could have achieved a good result but instead I crashed. A fall that weighed on my world championship, even if in the end I only fell twice. In Austin I left before the light went out. After Germany I achieved stable results, but not "explosive" like in 2010 or 2013, when I achieved many victories."

A thought then on Marc Marquez “The results speak for him. In his first year he won the title and this year he was spectacular and distanced himself by many points from his opponents. He was at the top and he deserved it.”

On his teammate Valentino Rossi he said “At 35 years old he managed to overcome the difficulties of the last three years and had one of his best seasons in 20 years. We both pushed to be the best and that's good for both of us and Yamaha.”

Idiot, I generally read all the articles and comment on several of them, Lorenzo is great and I consider him superior to Valentino, it was he who sent him into retirement a few years ago despite the antics of the wall in the garage!!!haha ridiculous..... as he states, this season has been below expectations, he's not a joker who wants to pass off winning 2 races as a great success...

I forgot: TONYKART, a man who knows what he says:

18 October, after Valentino's terrible qualifying, you were gloating and anticipating Rossi's imminent defeat:

“You dreamed of being a stoner on his island, you woke up and the reality is something completely different, ahahahahh nothing but victory..”

19 October 2014 Valentino wins at Philip Island for the sixth time in his career and you write:
“If the others fall and give faulty tires to your teammate, you'll see that you win the races too... how disgusting”

Hahahahaha!!! You don't take the opportunity to prove yourself wrong, you're a hoot…..TONYKART, for your own good: next time shut up, Rossi always proves you wrong!!!!

Lorenzo has never been superior to Rossi. It may be my opinion, but without the accident in 2010, Rossi would have won the world championship. Valentino is too superior. Another very personal opinion, saying Honda is a bike to beat, is out of place, it's a marvel... more truthful It's credible to say Marquez is the driver to beat. I wish everyone a good day.
