MotoGP – Jorge Lorenzo is certainly not having an easy time. The continuous injuries, the latest one in Assen which is forcing him to have a long period of time, and the lack of results on the track have certainly influenced the morale of the Majorcan, who however has made it known via his social pages that he has already returned to training .

Added to all this, however, are legal problems. According to what was reported by the website eltaquigrafo.com, a Spanish website that mainly deals with judicial news, the Spaniard was reported by the debt collection company The Office SCP for failure to fulfill his contractual duties.

Again according to what was reported by the Spanish site, Lorenzo, in 2014, relied on this company to recover money lent to collaborators and friends, for a total of 12 million euros. The majority of the sum, 11.6 million, would have gone to former manager Jordi Puig Godés, to make a series of investments. According to the contract, the company would be entitled to 25% of the amount collected, therefore around 4 million, but it would only receive 60 thousand. Hence the opening of the procedure.

Jorge Lorenzo is nowhere to be found

The question, however, is not so simple, in fact, again as reported by the Spanish site, the judicial officials have not yet managed to officially inform him of the opening of the ordinary trial procedure, despite there having been four attempts, one of which in the paddock of the GP of Jerez. Furthermore, the debt collection company seems to have made very serious accusations regarding the recovered money which, according to them, actually came from tax havens.
