The main problem of the Pesaro rider is that he is unable to enter corners with the motorbike

Valentino Rossi once again ends qualifying in a disastrous way: 13th, three and a half seconds behind Lorenzo, two and a half behind his teammate Hayden and even behind De Puniet's Crt.

The Pesaro native declared to Sport Mediaset: “The problem today is that it didn't rain and it wasn't even dry. I'm slow when cornering, in fast bends I have difficulty leaning the bike. Then in the puddles I never knew whether with the slicks I would remain standing or not. Hayden has a different setting than me, I was supposed to try it yesterday but then it started raining and today there wasn't time to try it." Valentino was then asked what the difference was between the work done by his team and that of his teammate and he replied that "My team did the same job as Nicky but he manages to lean the bike well when entering corners" Rossi then left the cameras with a laconic "This morning even with the rain I wasn't entering the corners well so pure if it rains I won't be able to fight for the victory"

These are the words released by the Pesaro native in the Ducati press release.

Qualifying didn't go well today. The conditions were quite difficult because it was cold and the asphalt was dry but not completely. In any case it was like this for everyone, that wasn't the problem: unfortunately I still have a lot of difficulty riding and cornering the bike, both with and without brakes. I'm slow to reach maximum lean, to bring the necessary speed into the corner and, when it's time to accelerate, I've already lost too much ground. We have been trying to resolve this thing for some time but we haven't done it yet. We have to continue working on the set-up because Nicky had a good session today, he was really good. Comparing the data we had confirmation that compared to him we lose a lot in revenue. In any case, we went a little better in the wet so let's see what conditions there will be for the race.”

Dear Valentino, you can't tell us the right thing…
This gap between you and Hayden is not normal and therefore there is definitely something else behind it, whatever it is, the disappointment remains, this time you lost the challenge, don't say much, it's better!

Dear Tiziano, the class and skill of a driver can be seen above all in the wet: Rossi came second at Le Mans, ahead of the 'legend' Stoner, giving him a driving lesson at the age of 33. . The handle is there, the Ducati isn't. .

if you can't enter the curve with your motorbike, try entering the Pio Albergo Trivulzio on foot. it's much easier.

I respond to Giuseppe's two comments.
It's likely that you don't remember how the Bridgestone affair actually went and what Mr. Rossi demanded.
“..But he also complained about Yamaha. With both bikes, Rossi won 7 titles..” In your opinion, before Rossi's advent, with the following of technicians, engine engineers, and obviously Burgess, was Yamaha the same thing? Remember that Honda recovered from that exodus of technicians (just look at the results) only with the advent of Stoner

With Stoner, Honda won a riders' title again, but even before him it was competitive, Pedrosa has always been at a high level, he won several races, sooner or later Simoncelli would have won too, Dovizioso was also always on the podium and also won: this shows that it has always been one of the strongest bikes. While when Rossi was at Yamaha he was the only one who was competitive, the others didn't exist until Lorenzo arrived who is a talented rider but he wasn't the one who made the bike grow, he found it already competitive on merit of Rossi's team.
