MotoGP Jerez, Qualifying: Marc Marquez “I'm quite happy, it went better than I expected”
Front row for the Repsol Honda Team rookie, winner in Austin
Marc Marquez got the front row in the “Gran Premio bwin de Espana“, third stage of the 2013 world championship. The Honda rookie who in Austin became the youngest rider to win a grand prix in the Top Class said he was quite satisfied and tomorrow in the race in front of his own fans he will try to bring home the maximum. The word is up to him.
“I'm quite happy, because the session went better than I expected. We knew it would be a difficult weekend, but I think we had a good qualifying session and starting from the front row is very important. I know that Dani (Pedrosa, ed.) and Lorenzo are one step ahead at the moment, but I will try to give one hundred percent and do my race. It will be tough, hot, and very demanding on the tyres, but we will try to get a good result in front of the home fans.”
