MotoGP Jerez, Qualifying: Barberà “I'm disappointed with the result”

Barbera closes qualifying with the 12th time, penultimate in the MotoGP, Only Valentino Rossi did worse than him. For the Spaniard, the bad result was due to the weather conditions, in the wet he could have aimed for a better result.

“I'm not very satisfied with the position achieved on the grid – said Barbera – in my opinion, I deserved more than the fourth row, but it wasn't an easy day. In the morning, in the wet, I was very comfortable, then in the afternoon, I found myself with conditions I can't stand. Dry track but with damp patches, the black sky made us leave the pits to find the time before any rain. And then the crash with 15 minutes to go which made me lose time. For tomorrow I'm confident because I usually start very well and I feel combative and fit. What it takes to get back on track."
