MotoGP Jerez, Free Practice: Michele Pirro “It was a positive day, I'm back to being a rider!”
The Ducati tester on the track with the Ducati "evolution"
Michele Pirro took to the track today in Jerez with the Ducati Desmosedici "renewed" in the swingarm, engine and frame package. The tester from the Borgo Panigale team, who once again "breathed" the GP atmosphere (he races here as a wild card), finished thirteenth fastest. However, he already wanted to thank Ducati for the opportunity granted to him. The word is up to him.
“It was a positive day in the sense that I went back to doing what I like most: racing! There's work to do because I'm still losing a lot in some areas, but overall I'm satisfied, given that I haven't done a race since November. Tomorrow we will try to improve the set-up of my Desmosedici GP13 because this is a new package, both in the frame and swingarm and in the engine. We're trying to improve the whole thing, take another step and get ready for the race. I hope to best repay the trust that Ducati has placed in me, which I can only thank for this opportunity."
