MotoGP Jerez, Free Practice: Cal Crutchlow “The team once again gave me a competitive bike”
The British driver ended the day of free practice in 2nd place
Cal Crutchlow he ends free practice in Jerez with the 2nd fastest time. The Briton riding his Yamaha from the Monster Tech3 team he therefore continues to confirm himself among the official drivers, despite driving a satellite M1. Crutchlow places himself just a tenth behind Lorenzo and is therefore preparing for another weekend as a protagonist, putting himself forward as one of the contenders for the podium.
“It was a very hard day – Cal Crutchlow said – because we made a lot of changes to the bike and therefore our setup was completely different from what we had here in the last test in March. We gave the bike more reach and less power which gives me a better feeling because even if in the last test I had the best lap time, today the track temperature is much higher and therefore if I used the setup back then I wouldn't have found myself good on the bike. Before the second practice session I made some changes and tried various things and I feel very positive ahead of tomorrow and above all the race. We have several ideas to improve further and tonight my team and I will look at all the data to present ourselves tomorrow in the best possible way. My team once again did an excellent job to give me a fast and competitive bike."

Nice Cal, keep up the good work.
You're great ;-)
This time he "risks" taking pole and podium.
Although I still wouldn't bet on it.
Great!
Cal has improved step by step since he joined MotoGP, to the point of becoming one of the fastest riders today, especially in the flying lap which was also a feature in SBK..
