MotoGP Jerez: Word to Rossi after a triumphant victory, Lorenzo and Marquez
Microphone to the riders on the podium at the end of the Spanish Grand Prix dominated by #46
Valentino Rossi Jorge Lorenzo Marc Marquez MotoGP 2016 gp Jerez – Valentino Rossi he resumes his dreams of glory right where they left off: in Spain in November the "Spanish world championship" as Lorenzo defined it arrived, and here in Jerez today the Pesaro native returns to winning, with a wide margin over Jorge Lorenzo e Marc Marquez. A race, let's face it, boring, without even a shred of overtaking, but today against the 9-time world champion no one could resist.
Valentino Rossi – 1st -: “I think it was a perfect weekend, we were always fast since Friday morning. The bike was fantastic, I have to thank my whole team. I knew I had a good pace, I made a good start, I pushed and I managed to win on my own. Victory and special day”
Jorge Lorenzo – 2st -: “The pace wasn't very fast, at the start of the race Rossi was faster than me. Then halfway through the race I was catching up but suddenly on the straight the tire must have degraded and when I put it in fourth, fifth and sixth it slipped as if it were a wet tire and so I had to slow down. Rossi was very strong, but without this problem I could have won with a margin in my opinion."
Marc Marquez – 3rd -: “From the start I understood that the feeling wasn't the same as yesterday, but I tried, I got behind Lorenzo but then when the bike started to slip I decided to settle and take the 16 points while maintaining the championship lead. I'm sorry in front of all these fans that I didn't have a better race."
