MotoGP | Jerez, Race: Iannone, “Happy with the pace until the crash”

Spanish GP, Suzuki Ecstar | Yet another misstep for Andrea Iannone in the Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2017 MotoGP world championship. The Suzuki Italian suffered a bad fall after just four laps, throwing away the excellent fifth position achieved in qualifying. A certainly negative result if we consider the newfound pace shown in the race. The objective for the next events will be to confirm today's performance, firmly competing for the podium already from Le Mans.

Here are the words of Andrea Iannone: “Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish the race in the best way. In the first part we managed to show off a good pace, competing for the top positions in the standings, but on the fourth lap I lost the front, ending up in the gravel and ending my race prematurely. Let's take all the good things done here in Jerez and look towards the next events with optimism. We have two tests where we can work to fix those small problems we have in terms of wear. I am optimistic".
