GP Jerez MotoGP GP – what could have been an excellent weekend for Aprilia ended. Too bad for Alvaro Bautista who, after yesterday's excellent performances, crashed today while he was battling for the top-ten. Despite the zero points brought home, the Jerez weekend still leaves us with the awareness that the RS-GPs are finally on the right path.
Stefan bradl he instead finished 14th, although constantly lagging behind his teammate throughout the weekend.

“After a good start which made me gain a few positions – he explained Alvaro Bautista – I was fighting in the group between eighth and eleventh place, when I lost the front in a fast corner. It's a shame and I'm sorry for the whole team who worked so well, but these are races and it's also right to try. However, this remains a very positive weekend, we did well in practice, in the race I felt comfortable and I had no problems fighting in that group. So now we have to look forward and continue to grow the bike like we did here."

“The final result is positive – the words of Stefan bradl. We worked a lot on the setting to find a feeling with the rear tyre, it was a rather challenging weekend in terms of grip. We also tried a further step in the warm-up, from which I had no benefits, so despite having returned to the previous solution I set off for the race with some doubts. I got away better than in the last few races and in the first laps I felt good, then I felt a drop in the front tire which forced me to slow down. Lap after lap I found my rhythm and I also managed to catch up to my rivals, overtaking Hernandez in the end and gaining a few points."
