MotoGP 2015 Movistar Yamaha GP Indianapolis QP – Valentino Rossi will start from the third row in the Indianapolis Grand Prix, tenth stage of the 2015 season. The Yamaha rider managed to greatly improve his feeling with the bike compared to yesterday, the race pace is not bad, even if the three Spaniards Marquez, Pedrosa and Lorenzo seem to have more. Fighting for the podium won't be easy, he says.

“Today we took a good step forward. We managed to improve the setting a lot and in FP4 the pace wasn't bad, I was fourth and quite close to the others. The problem is that Marquez is strong here, but so are Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Tomorrow fighting for the podium will be tough. Unfortunately on the good lap I found traffic and I wasn't good. It would have been important to start from the second row. Technically speaking we have removed weight from the front, now the bike is more reactive when changing direction. This also puts less stress on the front. Yesterday we made the mistake of starting with a setting that was too similar to the other races, but this track is particular. I suffer particularly in T2, I like to brake in a certain way, but here if you do so you are penalized in Ss. To have a good race you need another step."
