Andrea Iannone's Indianapolis weekend had started in the best way possible, with his promotion to official Ducati rider for 2015 which took place a few days earlier and with the desire to give himself a nice present for his 25th birthday. Unfortunately his GP14, which also had problems yesterday, "abandoned" him after a few laps, forcing the Team Pramac rider to retire. The word is up to him.

“It's a shame to have to go home without finishing the race. After a good start I immediately realized that something wasn't as it should be. We look forward confidently, we will do it again soon."

He will be able to try as early as next week in Brno, where the world championship will hold its eleventh race of the season.
