Alvaro Bautista is particularly satisfied with his GP held in Indianapolis. The Team Gresini rider in fact fought the entire race for fourth place and only had to give up at the end due to tire failure, finishing sixth behind Rossi and Crutchlow. However, the determination shown was that of the best days and this gives us hope for #19. He has the microphone.

“I'm particularly satisfied because I think I had a great race. Naturally I would have preferred to finish fourth but even a sixth place isn't bad considering how he finished. Unfortunately in the first part, in trying to make up ground, I perhaps forced the front tire a little which then dropped in performance towards the end. I tried to defend my position but Crutchlow closed my line and I couldn't get past him. It's a shame but beyond the final position I'm happy because I'm starting to have fun and have a fantastic feeling with the bike that I've been waiting for for a long time. We are working well and for this reason special thanks go to the team guys at Showa, Nissin and of course Honda. Now we look at the future with greater and renewed confidence.”
