MotoGP European GP Valencia LCR Honda Qualifying – The streak of useful results in qualifying for Takaaki Nakagami continues. The standard bearer of the LCR Honda team, after the pole position achieved in Aragon, managed to end Saturday in Valencia in third place. A different story however for Cal Crutchlow, out of Q2 and far from the top positions in the standings.

“I'm really happy to be back on the front row, this time it's not pole position but third position is an excellent result. At the end of qualifying (Q2) I made a small mistake, I was pushing too much and I crashed at the last corner, but it was good to be able to give my best in these types of conditions and we managed to get a front row. I want to say thanks to all my team and let's see what happens tomorrow, I'm ready to fight! “.

“It's definitely not my best day nor my best qualifying given that I wasn't able to get through to Q2 as I thought. I could have automatically gone to Q2 yesterday but the yellow flag problem messed up our plans. The track conditions were not good and I wasn't able to lap as I wanted. The race will be long and it will be a bit of a lottery for everyone given that we didn't run in the dry. I hope to work well in tomorrow morning's warm-up and be fit for the race."
