GP Valencia MotoGP Aprilia – Double retirement for Aprilia in the Valencian Community Grand Prix, the last round of the 2022 MotoGP world championship. Despite the team's efforts, Aleix Espargarò and Maverick Vinales failed to see the checkered flag at the Ricardo Tormo, an aspect which deprived the team of important objectives such as third place in the drivers' championship and second in the constructors' championship . “For me it was a dream to fight for third position, something historic especially with the current level of the Championship. I believe it was possible, unfortunately a technical problem forced me to withdraw. A shame after the season we had, I gave everything from the first to the last race and I have nothing to complain about. This is racing, things don't always go as you expect. Now we have to continue working, because next season represents a new chance to do well."

“What happened is a real shame, we had the pace and rhythm to fight for the top positions but I had a problem with the front and my race ended there. This season we have done a lot but we need to improve, I had problems at the beginning to find the right set-up and in the last part of the championship. We have to work hard and be good at learning from this season."
