MotoGP GP Valencia – The 2018 MotoGP season comes to an end, this weekend sees the Valencia Grand Prix, the last event of the year.

The last title to be awarded is the Team title, after HRC won the constructors' title in Malaysia, and Marc Marquez the drivers' title in Japan, but we will not race just to win.

It will be Dani Pedrosa's last MotoGP race, who after thirteen years leaves the premier class to dedicate himself to the role of tester for KTM. It will certainly be a moving weekend for the Spaniard, his fans and beyond. We will probably all shed a few tears already on Thursday when #26 will enter the MotoGP Hall of Fame in a ceremony starting at 16.00pm. It will also be the farewell race for Scott Redding, who leaves Aprilia towards BSB, and Alvaro Bautista, who next year will be in SBK with the official Ducati Team.

For many other riders it will be the last race before changing teams such as: Andrea Iannone and Jorge Lorenzo.

For everyone else the watchword will be to win. Ducati, with Andrea Dovizioso, comes from a less than brilliant period after Malaysia, while Yamaha seems to have emerged from the tunnel.

Doing well will be important for morale, because after just two days the 2019 season begins, with pre-season tests scheduled for November 20th and 21st.
