MotoGP | GP Valencia Day 1: Iannone, “The day wasn't that bad”

Sixth position for Andrea Iannone at the end of the first free practice valid for the Valencian Community Grand Prix, the last event of this 2018 MotoGP world championship. The Italian from Suzuki tried to adapt his riding and the bike to the difficult conditions present today on the Ricardo Tormo, collecting various useful data from a qualifying and race perspective.

Here are the words of Andrea Iannone: “Today wasn't that bad and it's only Friday. The conditions were a bit difficult, but it's the same for everyone. Today we worked well and found some areas where we can improve, particularly in braking points and corners. So by tomorrow we hope to have found some solutions. We will give our best in qualifying as the feeling seems good."

On the conditions of the track he added: “The grip is very good, but when there is a lot of water we have a bit of spin, especially on the straight. Unfortunately we can't do much and we have to deal with these conditions."
