MotoGP | Thailand GP: Marquez taken to hospital for checks
The Spaniard was the author of a violent High-side during free practice, requiring further checks on his lower back and left tibia
MotoGP GP Thailand – Marc Marquez committed a violent high-side during the first free practice session.
After dominating the first part of the session, the Spaniard put on new tires in the final minutes to try for the time attack, but on the return lap he lost the rear, whether due to a fault, it remains unclear. The motorbike was destroyed in the fall and the rider remained on the ground for a few minutes. Helped by the commissioners, the world championship leader managed to get up and was sent to the medical center in pain.
#93 underwent checks, in particular the areas involved in the fall were the lower back and the left tibia. The Spaniard was then transported to hospital for further checks.
