MotoGP | United States GP Qualifying: Iannone, “We are not completely ready for the race, but the feeling is ok”

Front row for Andrea Iannone in the Grand Prix of the Americas, third round of the 2018 MotoGP world championship. The Italian from Suzuki closed Q2 with a time of 2'04.209, losing around half a second from Marc Marquez's pole position (later cancelled). An important front row that will allow the Italian to compete for the top positions in tonight's race.

Here are the words of Andrea Iannone: “My last start on the front row was in Valencia. The feeling with the bike is excellent here and we worked very well during this weekend. We are not completely ready for the race and will use the warm-up to fine-tune some settings, but I think that's the same for everyone. It will be a difficult race, especially because Marquez has a fairly high pace, but nothing is ever certain and we will push hard from the first to the last lap. I'm happy to start from the front row. We have worked very hard over the last year and a half and I hope to reward the boys with a great result."
