MotoGP GP United States Press Conference – Andrea Dovizioso was also present at the usual press conference preceding the American Grand Prix.

The driver from Forlì ended the Argentine GP in sixth position, but despite the less than brilliant result, thanks to the "confusing" race he managed to gain important points in the standings.

These are the words of Andrea Dovizioso: “Finishing in sixth place if you want to fight for the championship is not the best. We were lucky in Argentina. We brought home many points despite having no speed. Jack showed that the Ducati was fast, while we failed to be competitive. I think this season could be different than last year, there are more fast riders with more bikes. Austin is a particular track, anything can happen. Here last year we struggled, but I got two podiums. We have to do our best on the tracks where we are fast, and reach the top five on the difficult tracks."

Tomorrow the Safety Commission will meet to discuss what happened in Argentina and perhaps propose changes to the regulation: “Tomorrow in the Safety Commission there will be many ideas. We will have to talk and maybe we will find something better than the current rules. I think there's always ways to improve things. We have to work at it, we won't find something perfect but we have to try.”
