MotoGP British GP Yamaha MotoGP Qualifying – Maverick Vinales closed the qualifying for the MotoGP class British Grand Prix, twelfth stage of the 2019 MotoGP championship, with the sixth fastest time.

The Spaniard demonstrated during free practice that he had a good race pace, but the overall performance on the flying lap was lacking. Despite starting from the second row, the #12 is confident and he thinks he can at least fight for the podium.

Statements Maverick Vinales British GP MotoGP Silverstone Qualifying

“It's been a good weekend so far. We prepared really well for the race and I feel very confident for tomorrow, so I will do my best from lap 1. Somehow I manage to achieve very good lap times at the end of the race, which means that will be one of our strong points. I will try my best in the end. The start of the race is what we need to improve on, we need to be at the highest level there too. I think it will be important to take another step in the Warm Up tomorrow if we want to fight for the win. The podium is very open, so we will try to be there at the start and then we'll see. ”
