MotoGP British GP Silverstone Repsol Honda Team -Marc Marquez's Silverstone Grand Prix lasted less than a lap, as he crashed while fighting for the top positions.
The Spanish driver started from fifth place and fought in the first lap with the leading riders, coming into contact with Jorge Martin and "ruining" both of their races. The eight-time world champion apologized to his compatriot.

“First of all I want to apologize to Jorge Martin, I already went to him and his team to apologize after the race. It was my mistake. I was too optimistic with that overtaking. Races are sometimes like that and today I was the one who made the mistake. Overall the weekend was quite good as we were fast in many sessions, even after a bad crash on Friday. It's a shame to make this mistake in the race because we had the pace to do something interesting here today."
