MotoGP | GP Qatar Qualifying: Cal Crutchlow, “It was a really frenetic session”

MotoGP Gp Qatar LCR Qualifying – After the doubts raised after yesterday's free practice, Cal Crutchlow ranked fourth in the first qualifying session of this 2018 MotoGP world championship. In Losail, in fact, the Englishman made the most of the potential of his Honda, placing on the second row behind Johan Zarco, Marc Marquez and Danilo Petrucci. The standard bearer of the LCR team finished with a time of 1'54.072.

Here are the words divCal Crutchlow: “We are quite happy with fourth place although I am disappointed not to have broken through the 1'54 barrier”. Congratulations to the first three drivers who drove to their maximum in those conditions. It was a really hectic session, now we have to concentrate on the race which is the most important part of the weekend. I think I have excellent pace and I feel comfortable thinking about tomorrow, but I also know that it will be a very long season and starting off on the right foot would be fantastic."
