MotoGP | Qatar GP FP4: All-Italian final round with Dovizioso, Petrucci and Rossi

MotoGP GP Qatar Free Practice 4 – The fourth and final free practice session of the MotoGP class in Losail, scene of the Qatar Grand Prix, the inaugural race of the 2018 MotoGP world championship, saw Andrea Dovizioso set the best time.

The Ducati rider achieved it with a time of 1:55'248, just 62 thousandths ahead of his teammate Danilo Petrucci, who was in turn ahead of nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi.

Fourth, fifth and sixth times for the Spaniards Alex Rins, Marc Marquez and Maverick Vinales, with the latter having to go through the "trap" in Q1, given that he is outside the Top Ten in the combined ranking of the first three free practice sessions.

Seventh time for Andrea Iannone, who preceded Jorge Lorenzo, Cal Crutchlow and Dani Pedrosa. Lorenzo had some unexpected problems with the brake disc sensor and the tank. Rookie Franco Morbidelli set the fifteenth fastest time.
