MotoGP | Qatar GP FP4: Ducati double with Petrucci and Dovizioso

MotoGP GP Qatar Free Practice 4 – The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class in Losail, a session not valid for the purposes of entry into Q2, but where the riders work above all with a view to the race, saw Danilo Petrucci set the best time.

The Ducati rider from Terni set the best lap with a time of 1:54.854, a time that allowed him to beat team-mate Andrea Dovizioso by just 13 thousandths.

Third time at +86 thousandths for Maverick Vinales' Yamaha, ahead of Jack Miller's Ducati, in turn ahead of Fabio Quartararo's Team Petronas Yamaha M1 and Marc Marquez's Honda, who crashed at the start of the session without consequences.

Rookie Joan Mir (Suzuki) is seventh and ahead of Japanese Takaaki Nakagami (Honda LCR). Closing out the Top Ten are Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia and Alex Rins' Suzuki.

Franco Morbidelli and Andrea Iannone occupy twelfth and thirteenth positions respectively, while Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo are at the back. The Mallorcan is fifteenth, while the Pesaro eighteenth. Let's remember that both will have to go through the Q1 trap.
