MotoGP | Qatar GP Qualifying: Dovizioso, “I'm disappointed, I completely lost the feeling”
"Starting from behind is not the best situation" added the Forlì native
GP Qatar WithU Yamaha RNF MotoGP 2022 – Andrea Dovizioso ended qualifying for the Qatar Grand Prix, the first stage of the 2022 MotoGP, with the 20th time.
The driver from Forlì, after a first day of free practice which ended in crescendo, missed out on direct access to Q2, finishing the morning's FP3 with the 19th fastest time. In Q1 the #04 was unable to gain access to the next phase and will be forced to make a difficult comeback.

“I'm disappointed because today I completely lost the feeling with the bike, also regarding the track conditions, the wind was quite strong unlike yesterday, that's the only difference. I couldn't be constant. All the positive things I found yesterday, I was unable to maintain or improve my position. Tomorrow the track could be in a totally different condition, I hope to feel the right sensations again. Starting 20th is very bad, everyone should manage the tyres, starting from behind is not the best situation."
