The rider from Vasto has just returned from a disastrous first year with Suzuki, but during the last winter the situation seems to have improved.

In pre-season tests they went rather well, in particular Iannone closed the second day in Qatar with the first time, while on the third and final day he was forced to stay in the pits for health reasons. In any case, given the good results obtained so far, #29 has what it takes to start 2018 in the best possible way.

These are the words of Andrea Iannone: “The start of the 2017 season was quite tough for us, but towards the end we recovered something and managed to be closer to the top. We have started working very hard again for the future. We started in better conditions right from the start than last year. The bike has a better base and during the tests we worked to try them all and understand the best way. I think that, especially here, the feeling I have with the bike is very positive but in any case we are all very close and this class is always stronger. We will try to do our best. I don't know what I like about this track. When the feeling with the bike is good I always ride fast. I always give my best and Qatar is a good circuit for me, but in general it's like that at every track.”
