MotoGP | Portuguese GP Sprint Race, Espargarò: “I can't find the right feeling”

MotoGP GP Portugal Aprilia Racing – Aleix Espargarò finished the Sprint Race of the Portuguese Grand Prix, second stage of the 2024 MotoGP, in eighth position.

It was a complicated day for Aleix Espargaró, failing to gain access to Q2 by just two tenths. After a good start, he managed to gain positions during the first laps of the race. The Spanish driver finished in eighth position in the Sprint.

“First of all, I am very happy for Maverick's first victory with Aprilia. It's a bit of a complicated track for me, a stop and go track with strong acceleration, so I can't find the right feeling. The bike is competitive, today I will have to work to be ready for the race."
