GP Portugal MotoGP 2024 Ducati – Enea Bastianini closed the Sprint Race of the Portuguese Grand Prix, second stage of the 2024 MotoGP, in sixth position.
The less than perfect start from pole cost Bastianini some positions, who suffered in the first laps of the race before finding a constant pace, which however did not allow him to get back into the battle for the podium. The #23 finished sixth at the finish line, just over two tenths behind his teammate.

“I made a somewhat trivial mistake, I inserted the hole shot and then removed it thinking I hadn't inserted it yet. It's really a shame, because I think I could have done better. In the first laps I put a lot of stress on the front tire in an attempt to overtake and recover positions so let's say that I played my cards badly and wasn't able to express my potential.
