MotoGP Portuguese GP Portimao Ducati Pramac Qualifying – Francesco Bagnaia finished qualifying for the Portuguese Grand Prix, the last stage of the 2020 MotoGP, in 15th position.

The driver from Turin missed out on direct access to Q2 but his pace seems good enough to at least fight for the top ten.

“We had other expectations, yesterday with a bad lap I was faster while today I had to push harder. We changed something for the wind but it went worse. We'll be back tomorrow and hope the wind doesn't increase. In FP4 we were slow like all the Ducatis just as we were slow in the fast laps. I didn't expect to be slower on the second day. We have to understand what isn't working. Zarco and Miller are no faster on the pace. Jack is certainly a bit faster, but in terms of pace he is 7 tenths behind the fastest. He was strong in qualifying and in races he always manages to do something more. I'm the only one who has some things different than others. I would have been happier if I had started later. After Misano we were no longer able to be fast. I'm sorry because we have the potential to have a good race. I would like to greet the Pramac team in the best possible way but we have to take a step forward."
