MotoGP | GP Portimao Race, Rins: “We found confirmation on the areas to improve”

GP Portimao MotoGP 2023 LCR Honda – 10th and 12th position for alex rins e Taakaki Nakagami at the end of the Portuguese Grand Prix, the inaugural event of the 2023 MotoGP season held on the Portimao track. After the many ups and downs of the Portuguese weekend, the Spaniard and the Japanese driver managed to better understand the strong and weak points of the RCV package, an aspect that will have to push the technicians to present some innovations starting from the next tests in calendar (we will be back on track in seven days in Termas de Rio Hondo, Argentina).

“This was my first weekend with Honda and as the laps went by we found confirmation on which areas to improve. As a rider I would always like to be in front, but on days like these it is important to evaluate the positive aspects of the bike's behavior on the track, which have existed. I want to try new parts in Argentina because there is potential and we are working hard to achieve our goals. Many thanks to the team for their work."

“I'm quite positive after this race. It was difficult because the rivals didn't make things easy and we had to manage the situation, but overall we brought home important points and we know which path to follow to catch up with the competitors.
