Statements Joan Mir Gp Portimao Day 1 MotoGP

“I feel pretty good, considering it was the first day of working on this track. We worked satisfactorily on the bike's settings and on the electronics. It's difficult to adapt the bike to a track you don't know and the set-up work took a lot of time. By the end of the second round, however, I felt comfortable. I would say that we can be satisfied at the end of this day 1. The track is new and we are all in the same conditions, so it is important to be quick in learning it. At various points of the track I feel strong, while at others we need to improve. We hope to do it tomorrow."
