Suzuki Italian GP – After a heavy fall at Le Mans, Joan Mir wants to return to battle for the top in the next Italian Grand Prix, eighth round of the 2022 Formula 1 world championship. Having slipped 46 points behind Fabio Quartararo's leadership in the world championship, the Champion of the 2020 World Championship aims to obtain a good result at Mugello, an extremely fundamental objective to keep the fight for the title "alive".

“The crash at Le Mans was difficult to digest, as I could have scored some really solid points, but I have to overcome it because I can't keep thinking about what could have happened. Mugello is a magical place and personally I consider myself still fighting to obtain good results. Last year I got on the podium, despite the bad circumstances in which it happened, and I hope to replicate that result this year. It would be a beautiful tribute to Jason."
