MotoGP | GP Mugello Race: Miller, “It was a race of survival”

MotoGP Italian GP Mugello Ducati 2021 – Jack Miller finished the Italian Grand Prix, sixth stage of the 2021 MotoGP, in sixth position.

The Ducati rider, fifth yesterday in qualifying, after a good start struggled to immediately find the rhythm, losing several positions after a few laps. Despite attempts to close the gap on his opponents, Miller finally closed the race in sixth position, however securing important points for the general classification which currently sees him fourth, behind Bagnaia (third) and Zarco (second), at 31 points from leader Quartararo.

“Today was a survival race and, with the wind picking up before the start, I suffered a lot. I did my best, trying to make up positions towards the end, but I didn't feel completely comfortable. In any case, today we bring home important points for the general classification. Now we need to leave Mugello behind and start thinking about the race in Barcelona, ​​where we will certainly aim to achieve a better result."
